Namco Bandai ci informa di una interessante iniziativa per il titolo Ridge Racer Unbounded in arrivo nei negozi italiani il 29 Marzo 2012.

Per coloro si catalputeranno nei negozi per acquistare il titolo il giorno del suo debutto, riceveranno tre autovetture aggiuntive: The Ghoster, The Immortal, The Road Wolf, oltre ad avere cinque set di pittura con serigrafie dedicate a PAC-MAN (Kinghawk GT), GALAGA (Hurricana CX), TEKKEN (Crimson TT), SOULCALIBUR (Wolfseye GT) o ACE COMBAT per personalizzare al meglio ogni bolide, mentre coloro che effettueranno un pre-ordine avranno in aggiunta sei autovveture tratte dal famoso e storico franchise.

Ricordiamo che il titolo debutta nei negozi il 29 Marzo 2012 su PC, Playstation 3 e Xbox 360.

Leading video game publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe today unveiled details about the RIDGE RACER™ UNBOUNDED day one edition and preorder program, with each featuring a host of red hot content for fans. The game will be released on March 30th, 2012, across EMEA and Australasia for Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 and Windows PC.

Available at the standard retail price, the day one edition of RIDGE RACER UNBOUNDED will include three extra racing machines and five sizzling new NAMCO paint jobs. The three additional cars detailed below bring more wall-shattering variety and driving choice to the roster of cars already in the game:

The Ghoster: This low rider coupe with its electric blue finish isn’t for cruisin’ but for bruisin’.

The Immortal: This red super sports beast isn’t easy to tame, but it’s worth the effort.

The Road Wolf: Eat up the competition with this classic red coupe inspired by cars of the 60’s.

The five paint jobs, one each for five of the existing in-game cars, represent legendary NAMCO franchises, letting players race in single player or against friends online with their car fully pimped in the style of PAC-MAN™ (Kinghawk GT), GALAGA™ (Hurricana CX), TEKKEN™ (Crimson TT), SOULCALIBUR™ (Wolfseye GT) or ACE COMBAT™ (Sylvian Type 8).

In addition to the day one edition content, fans who preorder the game will be able to get their hands on even more cars, with up to six killer machines lining up to smash their way into Shatter Bay. Availability of preorder cars may vary – check local retailers for details.

RIDGE RACER 1 Car: The machine from the very first RIDGE RACER that began the legacy.

The Hearse: A dark and gloomy hearse – with this machine no other car will end the race alive.

RIDGE RACER Type 4 Car: The hero car from RIDGE RACER Type 4, this is a fan favourite from the landmark of arcade racing.

El Mariachi: A flashy orange coupe utility with a crazy engine. If you’re feeling a little bit country, get behind the wheel of this!

RIDGE RACER 7 Car: The hero car from RIDGE RACER 7, this extreme sports car has a whole lot of power.

The Gallows: A classic yellow hot rod pick up that stands out a mile in the heat of the race.

This latest entry in the celebrated RIDGE RACER series turbo-charges the racing genre with full environmental and vehicular destruction. The City Creator lets players design their own impressive urban tracks in minutes using the powerful yet accessible in-game tools, then share their creations online. The signature arcade handling and drifting elements that fans have come to know and love combined with explosive action takes RIDGE RACER UNBOUNDED to the next level of competitive racing. With a new car selection including powerful vintage muscle cars, players will take over every alley and street corner in Shatter Bay in the most visceral and destructive racing game of 2012.

In single player mode, players indulge in high speed destruction to impress Kara Shindo, leader of the Unbounded gang, and grow their street cred in Shatter Bay. Domination Race encourages players to destroy everything in sight including rival cars, the environment and other traffic on the road. Survival Race gives the player one car and one chance to avoid destruction to finish in first place. Additional game modes include action challenges focused on taking out other cars, drifting and duelling.

In addition to the single player game, racers can take their driving skills online against other players in several multiplayer modes and challenge them on tracks they designed themselves. The real fun begins when players battle it out behind the wheel to dominate each other’s creations. The race is on to stay in control.
